FLEXPRIN, reaffirming its commitment to the safeguarding of human life at sea, notifies its clients and partners that:

It has been verified that a company, acting irregularly, has counterfeited Flexprin Inflatable Floating Devices and Liferafts. Consequently, this company had its Maintenance Station decertified by the Brazilian Navy, as well as the revocation of its international DNV and ABS classification certificates.

Due to the severe threat to human life resulting from this unlawful action, FLEXPRIN advises that all equipment serviced by unauthorized providers be immediately inspected, exclusively at Maintenance Stations accredited by FLEXPRIN.

Servicing and repair

The periodic inspection of lifesaving equipment is mandatory every 12 months to ensure its functionality, reliability, and compliance with the required standards. The process includes fully opening the equipment, performing airtightness and pressure tests, painting the containers, as well as final labeling and issuing a new certificate of compliance.

This set of procedures ensures that the equipments are always ready for immediate use. Periodic maintenance not only extends the equipment’s service life but also protects lives and assets, ensuring maximum safety in emergency situations.
