Compliant with the new regulations of the Directorate of Ports and Coasts Norman 321 (formerly Norman 5)
The Apollo-6 Personnel Transfer Basket is constructed from stainless steel with an external frame that protects passengers from lateral and vertical impacts.
Passengers are transported seated and secured with 4-point safety belts. The seats are attached to a vertical stainless-steel column and feature a cushioning system to minimize vertical impacts. An emergency system replaces the support cable in case of breakage.
Superior Buoyancy Capacity
Permanent buoyancy, even if perforated, to keep the Basket and all its passengers afloat in a vertical position, and to right the Basket in case of capsizing.
It has the capacity to transport a stretcher and two additional passengers and includes space for luggage storage.
Alternative Rental Model:
Flexprin has a significant stock of transfer baskets for offshore environments, required by DPC regulations and approved by them.
The rental model for this equipment eliminates CAPEX and reduces the logistical processes of annual certification by half, with a simple exchange of expired baskets for new ones, certified for another year. Additionally, this model generates only a single annual payment process, and the agreement developed with customers can have flexible duration, fixed pricing, and simplifies internal and fiscal controls.
The annual inspection, in addition to being mandatory, will also extend the lifespan of your equipment and, therefore, its safety. The Baskets are kept in harsh environments and exposed to humidity, heat, fresh and salt water, drastic temperature changes, and improper handling, which can accelerate the natural aging process of the equipment and its components. It is impossible to determine if the equipment will maintain its good operational condition without regular inspections.
