In accordance with NORMAM-211/DPC, Chapter 4, item 4.13, the ISO 9650-1 Liferaft is approved exclusively for sport and recreational vessels, such as yachts, motorboats, and sailboats. In compliance with the same regulatory requirements, the equipment holds internationally recognized certifications, such as CCS, GL, and RS, providing high maritime safety standards.
Compact and reliable, the liferaft is designed to be launched from the deck into the water, where it automatically inflates upon activation, guaranteeing speed and safety in emergency situations.
Servicing and repair
The periodic inspection of lifesaving equipment is mandatory every 12 months to ensure its functionality, reliability, and compliance with the required standards. The process includes fully opening the equipment, performing airtightness and pressure tests, testing and recharging the cylinder, replacing expired survival items (such as rations, medicines, pyrotechnics, and batteries), painting the containers and the cylinder, as well as final labeling and issuing a new certificate of compliance.
This set of procedures ensures that liferafts are always ready for immediate use. Periodic maintenance not only extends the equipment’s service life but also protects lives and assets, ensuring maximum safety in emergency situations.
